Prayer Light: 4.16 discipline

Webster’s Unabridged (2002) reads: “from Latin disciplina, literally, teaching, instruction, alteration of discipulina, from discipulus pupil; training or experience that corrects, molds, strengthens, or perfects especially the mental faculties or moral character.”

Hebrews 12:11 (RSV) reads: “For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant; later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.”

If you want to send a haiku or image depicting “discipline,” see Prayer Light to find out how.
